Baroque Shadow
I love the shadow effect created by stamping the same image one on top of the other in different but coordinating colors.

Vintage Birthday
Wow, I guess this one sets the record for most stamp sets used on one card! This was a special order birthday card. The client wanted something with trees. I took that to mean I could get away with leaves and flowers. I guess it worked because the client loved it. I think that sprinkling in the green and gold leaves really helped spice it up a little.

Medallion Christmas
Kind of a strange post as we are coming up on Easter and all. Just wanted to show case something else you could do with Stampin' Up's Medallion stamp. This stamp is very versatile and is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I wish I could take credit for it, but I cased this layout from Split Coast.

Medallion Madness
I decided that I was going to Monogram the middle of this stamp with an initial, which led me to use my Lovely Letters stamp set. I just didn't like all of the blank space so I decided to spice it up with some black accents. It was here that I discovered (quite by accident) how perfect the small damask in the Lovely Letter Stamps works with the Medallion stamp. Don't you just love this combination!?!
The other thing that excites me about this card is that this is the first time I broke out my new Well Scripted clear mount stamp set. I have to say Stampin' Up has done it again! I have never been a fan of acrylic stamps for the simple fact that I can never get a clear image with them. These clear mount stamps from Stampin' Up incorporate the best of both worlds, the crisp image you get from rubber stamps with all of the see-thru/storage advantages of clear (acrylic) stamps. Not to mention they are LESS expensive! Can't wait to share the new clear mount stamps with my club girls this week!

Medallion Anniversary
The white background card I created for my "2nd Mom's" Anniversary. I had some exterraneous embossing powder around the edges and had to cut the image out. After I added the ribbon it turned out O.K. (there are no mistakes in paper crafting). The second card is designed with the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (which I love - especially paired with the modern label punch). I think I'm going to use this one for stamp club this month.

Birds of Spring
Happy Ground Hog's Day!!! I am really hoping this winter is finally over with. Today's card was made for my Mom and her husband for their 2nd wedding anniversary. They love nature, especially watching the birds and squirrels. So I hope they enjoy this card. Congratulations Grandma and Poppy!
