My Little Jayhawk
Some of you have requested that I start posting some of my 12x12 scrapbook layouts. This is one of my favorites. While my son and I were at the KU bookstore looking for Daddy's Christmas gifts, Ethan decided to try on one of the Jayhawk hats. Thank goodness I learned to keep a camera in my purse for moments like this.

Deer Brother
It's hard to tell from the picture but the black photo corners are matted on gold photo corners then accented with a gold brad. I ran the stamped image through my laser printer to get the sentiment, I was actually surprised that this worked as well as it did, considering all the ink sponged onto this card. I'm not sure I like the composition, but then again I always have trouble with masculine cards.

Chocolate Bunny
This was another card we did at the workshop on Sunday. I love this Chocolate Bunny stamp. It is just adorable!

Twist on Watercolor Rose Technique
I had to come up with another card for club this week and since we had already done the watercolor rose technique (which I am personally in LOVE with), I came up with my own "take" on this technique. I stamped the roses in Brocade Blue, then went back in with a aqua painter and brocade reinker and colored in the some of the petals. The shading turned out beautiful and very unique depending on the concentration of reinker used. I'm really glad it turned out and that my club girls liked it too!

Watercolor Rose
I created this card for a workshop this weekend. The hostess requested the watercolor rose technique. It was my first attempt at this technique. It was easy and turned out beautiful, don't you think!?! My husband was most impressed with the leaves. He even asked me if that was a "current" Stampin' Up sizzix die. I was very proud to say I created them all on my own with nothing but a stylus.

Easter Mini Milk Carton
I just got my Mini Milk Carton die delivered and couldn't wait to start playing with it! The little bunny in the Forest Friends stamp set was the perfect size to complement this Easter project and the carton is just big enough to get quite a few jelly beans in. I made the background with the flowery stamp in the Vintage Vogue set. We are going to be doing this one at club this week.

Happy Birthday Greg
Today's post is the birthday card I created and sent to my brother-in-law Greg. It was inspired by our black lab.
